Bike Distribution
Common Cycle distributes free bicycles to those who need them but cannot afford them through its network of organization partners in and around Ann Arbor.
We successfully piloted our bicycle distribution program in 2019 with grant support from the City of Ann Arbor’s Sustaining Ann Arbor Together Program, giving away 100 bicycles in our first year. Since then, we have distributed or sold hundreds of bicycles, and we have set a goal to provide a bicycle to anyone in Ann Arbor who needs one but cannot afford one through partnerships with area non-profits and social service organizations.
If you’re from a potential partner organization or you’d like more information about our bicycle distribution and partnership program, check out our partnerships page or contact bikes@commoncycle.org.

Having a bike may seem like a small thing, but for our clients, it is a step towards independence and that is no small thing at all.”
